we have a JD pro 2, minor modifications over the initial version. full deck for racing and sliding seats. We bought it used from a pro-team. I think it may actually be slower than a Jensen V1, as far as I can tell having been in both boats with the same partner but then I find the JD more stable which eventually makes you faster when things get rough or you get tired. It leans better than a v1, and has a less sharp transition, a more forgiving secondary stability. I think it is called a softer chime.
Long story short, we love the boat and have raced with it locally a lot. Import to Canada cots an arm and a leg though...
