This is my first sit on top yak(been a sit inside yaker for 6yrs.) Very comfortable seating system, plenty of room to move around & for gear, tracks well, all around great yak. A little on the heavy side, going from 38lbs to 57lbs.(a cart solved that problem). Highly recommend this kayak.

Love this Kayak. I'm new to kayaking and tried a few different Kayaks out via rentals, so I knew what details were important to me, and #1 was comfort and stability. This fits the bill! The only downside, it takes 2 people to load, as it is on the heavier side, but I love it and am very happy with my purchase!

This kayak is one of a kind and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start kayaking or who has already kayaked and is looking for another one. I have took this thing out on multiple fishing trips and its stability is excellent tackling tough waves and whitecaps I haven't tipped over yet. The weight is just right to where I can carry it everywhere and I can get to the most remote places. If you want a kayak that is easily transportable and that can fit almost anywhere choose this. If you are seriously thinking about getting a quality kayak out a quality price choose this. I can guarantee you that when your pulling in a 30" to 40" northern you will feel like that northern is pulling you and it's the best feeling ever.

Tracks well, stable but it is excessively heavy. The area under seat holds water/does not drain. The seat in lower position is not comfortable. I have padled most of the mid to high range fishing/rec. kayaks and this one is middle of the road. Good characteristics; Bomb proof, nice hull design and it looks cool.

My first sit on top..I had sit in for years , My back bothers me and older getting tuff to get in and out of sit ins,.I am happy with it have more room to move around in this and it s lot more stable. So i cn move around and reach things. It s little heavyer than other kayaks and wider so takes little more work to paddle But Gives me better work out..

I love the ease of getting on and off, the seat is AMAZINGLY comfortable. I have physical health issues that the design of this kayak make no problem at all to still get out and enjoy hours on the lake. It's stable, tracks well, my dog fits and loves going with, the tracks make it great for my rod holder for fishing! Got a 9 lb walleye out of it last summer! This kayak makes me able to enjoy kayaking again, I'd had to quit with my sit In style, even though I loved it, simply because my back hurt if I was out more than an hour or so, and I couldn't get out of it if I was by myself.
This fishing 'yak has a top-of-line adjustable seat with low & high settings for sight fishing.Also, has lots of rod holders, storage pods & slide tracks for mounting accessories. The smaller size is great for hauling & loading.
Price is quite reasonable compared to other brands Also has good tracking.

Awesome beginner kayak. Has a lot of usefull features like the molded-in rod holders, large rear tank well, the very comfy seat (which also can be removed and used as a beach chair) and my favorite is the gear tracks that are already factory installed. Holds all my fishing gear. Im 6'1" and 245lbs and this kayak still performs well.

so i shopped around a couple of years before pulling the trigger on buying a kayak. i was sold on the price and seat but every time I thought this yak was the one for me, someone threw me some cons and always told me about more expensive fishing yaks that would serve me better. After a pause and some contemplation I had enough funds saved for the Pescador plus a good werner carbon paddle, I went with my gut and bought the perception! This boat tracks great has very stable initial stability and I am elated that at 62 I bought this boat.. The seat is not as comfortable as I hoped, but It is All I need and I love it.
