The Catch 120 Description

No doubt about it, this sit-on-top kayak collection is for the serious kayak angler. THE CATCH family features a Tunnel Hull granting amazing stability making it easy to stand while casting your lines and there is plenty of floor space to prevent you from tripping over your equipment. Well planned out accessories help keep everything conveniently stowed and these boats are light enough for most people to carry and launch on their own! THE CATCH 120 is specially designed for those looking for a kayak with more space and storage. At 12' long and 69 lb, this kayak is ideal for the bigger angler looking to bring along a lot of gear with a total weight capacity of 400 lb. This angling kayak features our Ergocast G2 Dual Position Seating System™. A pocket on the backrest allows you to insert extra lumbar support with straps that adjust the level of support. Straps under the seat adjust to provide as firm or as soft a seat as you prefer. An elastic pocket and strap conveniently located on the seat allows you to keep your pliers, cutters and clippers close at hand. There is also a large pocket on the back of the seat to provide even more space to store your gear. Adjustable footrests will make paddling more comfortable and you can easily change your seat from paddling height to fishing height by simply slipping it into the higher slot. When you're ready to stand, simply flip the seat backwards to give yourself even more deck space to stand on. If you have any trouble, a centered stand assist strap will help you get into that standing position. Finally, anti-slip carpets will give you the extra traction you need to stand securely on a wet surface. THE CATCH 120 comes loaded with convenient features all anglers will love. A front doublewide Quick Lock hatch works great for your equipment or a battery if you use a fish finder that can be easily mounted on either of the two included rigging tracks. There are two accessory eyelets, four flush mount rod holders and two paddle/rod tie downs that ensure you have enough room for multiple rods, nets and other fishing gear. Little convenient options have also been added to THE CATCH 120, like a set of 4 scupper plugs, a forward molded paddle rest, an angler ruler, bottle holder, and robust ergonomic carrying handles. Finally, THE CATCH 120 offers a large rear tank well with bungee cords that will easily fit a milk crate packed with the rest of your gear. Pelican's unique manufacturing process allows them to include additional flotation inside the hull of all of their sit-on-tops in order to meet or surpass ABYC Standards. This overall process keeps these kayaks lighter than the competition while making them even more solid and buoyant. Made with patented RAM-X™ PREMIUM material, an exceptionally durable high molecular weight polyethylene that contains a top layer of advanced resin, which provides more rigidity while still being conveniently lightweight, THE CATCH 120 will provide years of fishing adventure sure to fuel stories worth sharing.

I have had this kayak for...

I have had this kayak for just over 2 years now and it is great! It is very stable in rough water and when standing. It is also very comfortable to paddle for long distances, however it is not the quickest of the kayaks out there. There is plenty of room in both the front hold and behind the seat. I have used it to go on 3 day camping excursions without a problem. My Golden Retriever can behind the seat and jump off and more importantly, get back on! Very happy with my purchase.

After a day on the lake...

After a day on the lake with the Pelican Catch 120 my review is simple. This Kayak has Great stability, I love the deck padding it helps to keep traction when i stand up, I can stand on it no problem . The Scotty gear track mounts are amazing and the Storage platform with bungee cords held my tackle box in place with no issues all. im 6ft 1 i can say that i had plenty of legroom i don't feel cramped at all. the Seat that comes with it is quite comfortable coming from someone with back issues if i'm able to fish in this kayak for 6+ hours with no complaints anyone can. Catching Catfish and bass in this kayak is a breeze. this angler kayak is the best one that i have ever been on the lake with. needless to say im very impressed.

Seat is very comfortable....

Seat is very comfortable. Stable to fish out of without breaking the bank. Do not have many things to complain on this boat. Do wish Pelican made a peddle drive boat, but I believe one is coming out soon if it has not already.

Best kayak I have ever...
