A day-touring kayak that features a drop-down skeg with release cord, the Old Town Sorrento 126 Kayak tracks like an arrow. Drop-down skeg can be pulled up for maneuverability in shallow waters. Its versatility makes it perfect for the beginner or intermediate paddler. The boat has generous legroom and features the ACS2 seat, the most comfortable seat you'll find in a kayak. Deck-rigging bungees. Bow and stern carry handles. Click-seal hatch and bulkhead. Adjustable foot braces.

Great little kayak . Very stable and the skeg definitely allows the boat to track super straight. Even in moderate cross winds . As a note it actually tracks quite well without the skeg but absolutely super with skeg .Extremely comfortable . If paddling in any wind at all you will need a spray skirt as it’s a really big cock pit ( 50 x20 inches) Kayak is a real winner . I will update next summer (2022 ) regarding rough water handling and limits as to date I have only paddled in protected “inside “ocean areas , mostly without a skirt as it took me a few weeks to track one down . I did paddle straight into the wind with gusts to 39 k/ hr without a skirt . Kayak was fine and I did not take any water in cockpit at all except for a little spay from the paddle drips when slightly off center from straight into the wind . Quite impressive really .
