Purchased this board earlier this summer as a beginner board. It works great for my 11 year old daughter. It may be a little too small for a larger paddler(200lbs.+). I weigh 190 and it seems a bit sluggish. Overall very happy with the board.
Pros

Larger paddlers or anyone carrying any gear may bog this board down a bit.

Had this board for about a month. Purchased as a beginner board for my eleven year old daughter. The board is a great size for a smaller paddler, handles great in the water and is easily transported even by a kid.

I bought this board about 2 months ago and It's been getting a lot of use. Easy to use and carry. I use it for rides on the Sacramento River and just recently used it for fishing. I love it so much. Definitely recommended
Pros
Stable. I'm 5'7, 160 lbs and feel that even if I was a little bigger it would still be just as easy to ride. Light. Looks great. Ladies love it.
Cons
Scratched pretty easily but I can live with it. Just need to be a little more careful

I recently had a chance to try out my buddy's new Malibu sup board and hate myself for trying it because now I want one of my own and it will be hard justifying this purchase to my wife.
The board is easy to balance on, and glides cross the water with incredibly smooth action. Even light paddling can get you moving pretty quickly. The overall design of the board is sweet too!

Malibu Classic is a great beginner for my wife. She loves the fact that it is stable and tracks straight. This has been the perfect gift to get us both in shape! Awesome workmanship, great product!

Thank you Malibu I have had a blast for over two years on my Malibu on our lake down the street.It is hard to get off it sometimes ..I love the balance and control I was am a beginner but feel like a mermaid sometimes out getting some wind and air and sun anyway thanks again....love Lisa Tillicum,Washington

I really liked this board from the first second I was on it. The surface is super comfortable for kneeling, the only thing is that the surface had a large bubble in it and the lettering was mostly worn off on the demo model I tried. It was very stable for standing and continued to be comfortable for my feet. It tracked well enough for lake recreation. It is light weight for carrying with one hand.

This is a soft top foam board and is thus very comfortable to stand on. I was surprised at how well it tracked and handled; I was sure that such a light board would suffer in those areas. The board I tried had a large air bubble about 1 foot in diameter on the top of the board, luckily not in a place where I would stand but I worry this might happen later.
