Great motor! The shorter 24" shaft is a lot easier to use on my kayak than a 36". It allows me to get into shallow water without having the tiller handle out of reach. 55lb of thrust is also plenty of power to get me from spot A to spot B quickly, but the lower speeds allow me to troll and spot lock when needed. I'm 6'2" and 175lbs on a 14" fishing kayak. Highly recommend!
