Fantastic river kayak for…
The DAGGER BLAST is superior than the "more recent,shorter,stubby" kayaks when you want to get somewhere & keep up with strong paddlers(flat water) with less effort! The FLAT BOTTOM+long line give good stability, and will surf any little wave. Around 2000, when this boat came out, many skilled river paddlers with small body fell in love with its performances and "fit". I rejoiced Hundreds of hours running the Slocan River,in Nelson; and surfing the BIG WAVE on The Columbia River in Trail BC.
I recommend it for the adventurous child 80 to 125 lbs at the ocean beach or to develop river skills with parent
