Love, love, love my Cruiser!!…

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 6/9/2016
Love, love, love my Cruiser!! Purchased 4 years ago and it's still looking and performing great! It's light enough that I can load and unload, carry and launch independently. Our family, including Finnigan the Weimaraner, have enjoyed many hours on (and off, lol!) the Cruiser! Occasionally, I attach a deck net which holds all my necessities in a 10 L dry bag and I'm good to go for the day! Overall, a very affordable, versatile board that I enjoy immensely!! Just have to find the right PFD, haven't been happy with any I've had yet. Happy SUP-ing everyone!! Pros Nice and light! I can load it on and off the roof of my SUV and have no trouble carrying it to the water independently. It's very maneuverable on the water yet was stable enough for me as an entry level paddler. Cons Only thing I would change is the deck pad! For yoga or those times I just wanna lay down and soak up some sun listening to the water mere inches from my ears I'd prefer a yoga style deck pad. The Cruiser's deck pad leaves a diamond pattern on any bare skin that touches it. (No sneaking a rest!!) Usage I "Cruise" of course!! Living in northeastern Ontario, Canada, we unfortunately don't get many opportunities for surfing! Our great Lake Huron occasionally presents some wild "rollers" and I try to get out in that as often as I can. Leisurely paddling and exploring on weekends, spotting fish and other hidden underwater "treasures" with my young children and my dog is by far my favorite way to enjoy my Crusier!! Fresh air, water and usually sun and my favorite people! I recently joined a paddling group in the small community I live in and we get together once a week for a few hours for some excercise and socialization! Primarily flat water touring and exercise. Have a safe and super SUP style summer!! See you on the water!
