This has been a surprisingly good product. I say surprisingly good because I thought it would be cheaply made, but although I wouldn't call it rugged, it has held up very well. It's not watertight, but it has lots of room for items you need to get to quickly. I really like the two side pockets, in which I put my water bottle and bilge pump. There's also a zipper pocket in front for small items, and a bungey net on top to hold a map or other items. It also has many attachment points to secure to your deck. Overall, a good product for the price.

Purchased the Chinook Aquatidal 25 Deck Bag (Yellow). Good size for essentials that need to be reached easily and without difficulty. Construction is sturdy and offers many features like side mesh holders. The bag is also very attractive. I get many compliments. I will buy again for a second kayak.

Bought this bag after researching others because I liked the form factor - contours to the kayak nicely and the price was right. Everything I wanted to carry along fits in there nicely - my hat, gloves, gps, sunglasses, snacks, etc. I don't have to remember if I forgot something - I just grab the bag. Now the bad part: the plastic that is supposed to form the shape is flimsy - keeps folding in on itself. The bungees that tie it to the kayak broke in pieces. It's supposed to be warranted but Chinook wants you to pay for $10 shipping of replacement parts. Gave it a 4 due to poor workmanship and lack of customer service. Any other bag will hold your stuff. It's how it holds up and how the company stands behind their products that warrant a high score.
