Designed for someone who wants to go fast and stay fit on inland lakes or other flat water. Wraith is an appropriate name. Not for a beginner unless one has good balance and is in good shape, but for a 12'6" board, she will fly! Pros This board is light, fast, tracks well, and has good glide. Cons Construction is so light it feels almost delicate. At 27.5 inches wide, it is not as stable as most all-round boards. If you want to stand around on the water get another board. Displacement bow tends to pick up seaweed or leaves from time to time, unlike my planing hull board. Significant wakes and waves that hit the board from the side can make it a challenge to stay on. Usage Fitness, fun and going fast on the inland lakes near where I live.

I love my BOTE I have had it for five years & it has brought me so much joy racing, exploring, exercising, & teaching others how to SUP at the beach & the bay. I usually keep it on my car... Love my BOTE more than my car! Pros It's design makes the board glide through the water & makes the ride smooth & relaxing. Unless speed is what you desire the design makes exercising & racing more fun & competitive. Cons The only con I can think of is the weight of the board makes it difficult to manhandle & to carry the board whenever & wherever I want ;/ Usage I have used my board to race, exercise, surf (funny because it wasn't designed to surf) & just exploring The panhandle of FL waterways ;)

I bought a Wraith 12' 6 Bote Board after researching that a woman my same similar weight and height won the Battle of the Paddle race with it. Upon now trying this board out, for its length it has proved to be a great all around board for stability, and smoothness on the water Pros The graphics design and stability. Cons I have not experienced anything that I don't like other than I can progress to possibly a longer more narrow board for racing. Usage A few short races, exercise, and surf .

The Wraith 12'6 touring is a beautiful board with full wood veneer. It tours, it races and catches the eye wherever it goes. One of three Botes we own. Pros Fast and stable, it is a 12'6 that is comfortable for a 200#er. Cons The only cons are related to the lack of glide inherent in 12'6 compared to 14'. Not related to the board itself. Usage Primarily racing and race practice. We use the 12'Bote and 10'6 Flood for touring and surf.
