The Body Glove "Torque" PFD…

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 7/8/2015
The Body Glove "Torque" PFD is not really a paddling PFD. It is more for recreational swimming/wakeboarding. It does serve it's purpose though, to keep you afloat if something were to happen and you end up in the water.

The Good:
4 buckle straps so you can get a good comfortable fit and it stays secure, grey and black color scheme that is stylish and not too flashy, it still floats and has held up after years of use.

The Not So Good:
The extra strap length can get caught on rods and things when fishing. The full back rides up when sitting in my kayak seat, so every so often, I have to pull it down and re-situate it. --I could just spend the extra $$ to get a paddling PFD. The cool grey/black color isn't the most visible; some flash is good so other boaters will see you.

Overall, no complaints, it was about $50 and has lasted several years; I would recommend it for all around water fun. If you're specifically going to paddle in it, spring for a paddling PFD.
