I've rented SUPs since they came out and I love the VESL. They are sturdy but challenging to someone with more experience and I would recommend trying this brand to anyone looking to improve their experience. Not to mention, they are beautiful and extremely well made. I'm 124lbs and can pick it up easily and load onto my mini without an issue.

I have owned a number of SUP boards in the past 6 years. My favorite of all has to be the VESL 10'6" bamboo wrap board. To start, the over all look, with its bamboo wood construction is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I share this board with her weight at 140 lbs. and my weight at 195 lbs. Neither of us have an issue with too large or too small a board. At approximately 195 liters volume, this board handles our weight range with no trouble. I use the this board for ocean surfing and also for river runs. The board is very maneuverable with an amazing glide. My wife is learning to paddle surf now and has picked it up with nothing in the way of problematic issues. The board is stable for a beginner and paddles easily through and also into the waves. It is amazingly light at 25 lbs. and seems to be extremely durable. When it was shipped to me it came with a high quality paddle and double boxed for shipping protection. My neighbor just received the 10'6 package. She was so impresses with the great customer service,no damage issues on delivery. I agreed, this board is awesome and very light to carry and very easy to use.The included paddle was just right and perfectly cut to her height, it moved lots of water for its size.
Pros
Great all around board you will be proud to own. Very easy to carry.
Cons
Only negative was that no fins were delivered with double boxed board and paddle. I am positive dealer will quickly send them out. I had a box of old fins to pick from, until they arrive.
Usage
Flat water that makes exercise fun,
Very stable already took a big Lab for a ride.
Nice long board shape, looks like it will good in the surf and prone paddled easily,great you just want to it as a regular long board.
