This is a very spacious tent for two people. It's just about the tallest 3-person tent on the market. The weight and packed size are suitable for kayaks or canoes.
This tent will not sleep 3 people due to the hexagonal shape, which narrows at the foot. There isn't room for three 20" mattresses at the foot. But two people would find it very spacious.
This is a very sturdy, rugged tent that should withstand pretty severe wind and rain. The materials and construction are top notch, like all Alps tents---don't be deceived by the low price.
The huge doors (placed diagonally across from each other rather than at the same end) make for great ventilation and very easy entry and exit---just step right in and out.
Be aware that tents that slant in at the top are stable in the wind but let rain in when you open the door. They also require rather large vestibules, which could be an issue on small backcountry sites.
