A good, straight-paddling SUP. It feels fast and it tracks quite well. It definitely feels more racer than cruiser, far tippier than your typical cruising hull. The construction is also stronger than most boards of this type. While it can't take a serious impact from a rock, it won't dent easily. Pros I like how it tracks well an the way the sharp nose cuts through the chop. Cons It's a little tippy. Also, the round rails make it a little harder to get a grab when you're pulling yourself back on after a fall. Usage I use it for touring and exercise.

Just purchased a secondhand 14' Race at season's end, adding it to a quiver of all around boards. Was looking for an affordable displacement hull design and this is perfect for soundside touring and exercising when I can't be in the surf. Nice, smooth glide; good stability; high out of the water, all day comfort. In fact, on day 2, did a 20 mile 5.5hr tour and just loved it. Pros Light, strong, nice glide. Ignore the review any review about trying to surf this (other than in windswells or bowwaves). It is great for what it is -- a solid entry board for long paddles. Cuts nicely through head-on swells. Cons None occur to me. Great for what it is -- an affordable entry into touring/exercise/racing SUPs. High profile makes cross-winds a little tricky but not a problem. Usage Perfect for exercise, touring on flatwater.

I paddle this board in flatwater, training . its light and maneuverable. Bow cuts through water, very nice. Pros quite stabile for me (110 KG, 1,94M) fast, compared to JP 11.8 allround, it's light and very cheap, paid 700 EUR in 2013, fin and leash included. Nice optic, nice shape. Weight 13,5 KG, so it's light Cons simple deck pad, quick dirty from muddy feed and bird ..., a shadow stays on the softdeck Usage flat water, perhaps race(28 wide is quite much), I'm not good enough so I use it for fitness and relaxing after work!!! this is perfect.
