I got this board from a shop at a discount since it was a demo board. It paddled well and had good stability and was pretty good at speed and tracking. It however was very brittle getting scratched chipped and dinged with deep damage far too easily so I sold it in favor of buying a BIC ACE TEC SUP instaed for better durability. Pros Stable bungee tie down points Cons feels quite heavier than claimed weight very easily damaged, very thin gelcoat Usage exercise

TEST RIDE: Finally! 8 mile…

TEST RIDE: Finally! 8 mile paddle on my new Smooth12.6 SUP...board performed as advertised! Great stability (31" wide) and the v-bottom and harder rails aft got me the displacement of water to get the glide. It took the boat wake waves fantastic, and rode the bumps with ease.

My 2 years at SURF EXPO paid off for me ! I found a board that performs and is priced fairly. I highly recommend you do a very thought out comparison , this board will work in a full range of conditions for a race/touring SUP. compare not just the length but the 31" width and 270 L volume. No other board gives you this and price! That's my recommendation and I have been surfing since 1962, thats when the Beach Boys were the number one band!

So where did u SUP Today I was on lake Houston.

Pros
Design that was well thought out! The rail hardness was important to me to prevent the yawing in cross chop. Works in all conditions for race / touring class

Cons
Really for me it's a great board for the price but if you need a con ! Put an FCS GO PRO plug up front and back!
Usage
I use it for race/touring-exercise. I will test run it in the surf but have regular surf sup's for that.

First time SUP user. Was worried about the stability due to being 6'1" 240lbs. First time on the Glide, it was windy and the water was choppy, but the board handled real nice. Thought I would swim at least once, but stayed dry the entire time. I feel like I purchased the perfect first timer board.

Pros
Stability and light weight.

Cons
None
Usage
Exercise and touring.

I'm 6'2" 230 lbs and this board is very stable and allows me to carry a little gear for day trips. Not a burner, but it does have decent glide. My wife who is much smaller also enjoys paddling it.

I do have a major complaint with the layup. The board has two dings that penetrate into the core. One came from tying the board down, the other from my daughter falling while paddling.

I thought the board was a great deal because of the good paddling characteristics, but the fragility completely negates that idea. I guess you get what you pay for.

Pros
Stable,
Carry a decent load,
Good glide

Cons
IMO, outweighing any Pro, it is too fragile
Usage
Exercise, touring
