The People at SUP ATX are…

The People at SUP ATX are just as amazing as their boards are. I always receive quick replies online and one on one attention at their showroom. My board has been through a few tight spots with me (Literally) and shows no sign of distress. Paddle boarding is my fun way to stay in shape, I hope more people take it up as a hobby or sport. The Pioneer is a great choice for anyone who migh have a bit more experience on the board and wants a smooth ride. Pros Sturdy Stable Smooth Cons A little challenging for less experienced riders. (IMO) Usage Flatter Inlets, Rivers, and some coast.

I purchased two SUP ATX 12…

Submitted by: guest-paddler on 10/2/2015
I purchased two SUP ATX 12 foot boards. I have been out a few times and seem to have a hard time staying balanced on the board. Not sure if it is me or I need a board that is wider or bigger. I purchased them thinking that they were more than big enough for someone 225 pounds. The other issue is one of the boards got a crack after the first time using it. The crack was from the first grommet which was put into the board back to the center of the board. I was told that it wasn't a warrantied crack. It just appears to me that the board failed in between the two holes they put into the board to place the grommets or holders in the board. They did send me some good plastic filler that I put in the crack and hope that fixed the problem. The board did yellow as well as they say water got into the board after the crack. I guess I go to balance class or weight watchers??? Pros They look nice and seem big enough, however for some reason several of my friends and I have an issue trying to stay up on them. Cons Balancing and staying up on the boards. Usage Just for touring, if I could stay up on them.
