Description
This
is a skin on frame portable kayak. The frame is aluminum with
hydraulic jacks that allow you to change the rocker and twist the
kayak to counter weathercocking on the fly while paddling. The skin
is PVC. It all fits in a bag that can be checked as luggage on an
airplane or easily transported in a car. No need to haul a trailer
behind your car or struggle hoisting and securing a kayak to your
roof. This paddles like a composite kayak, very stiff and
controllable. You're probably thinking this is too good to be true,
you can stop pinching yourself as it's all true. This comes with 2
flotation bags, spray skirt, kayak and travel case.
This
is a first generation model that was manufactured late in the build
cycle, everything works as intended. The newest 2nd generation Traks
cost around $4000.
