Description

Considered by many as one of the most sophisticated canoes ever built this is a 1983 original Ralph Frese design Old Town Canadienne 17 ft. Canoe. It weighs 75 lbs. This canoe has seen use from the Boundary Waters to Missouri rivers and stream to Midwestern ponds and lakes. The canoe has been stored indoors most of it's life. The cane seats are very comfortable and a portage yolk is included. This boat has been paddled by expert canoeists and is structurally like new. There are however many scratches on the gelcoat that testify to it's illustrious career. This canoe has been a part of our lives for decades. Whether loaded with a weeks gear or just cruising it paddles like a dream. Great for long miles on flatwater or navigating class II rapids. Kneeling pads are also included.

The asking price is $1000.00 USD. Please send us your paddling resume, and how you will be using the boat and we might be able to negotiate the price. We want this boat to go to a home that will appreciate the design and get as much use out of it as we have enjoyed over the years.

Some transport is possible as we live in San Antonio TX.
