Description
This is a boat that was designed for poling. It is set up as a solo. It was bought new in 2011 by the current owner. It has been stored under a cover in the shade outdoors all of its life. It is a bit oxidized, but otherwise in good shape with just minor scratches on the hull. It was meant to be maroon, but some people see a bit of purple in it. The layup is kevlar on the inside with fiberglass on the outside. It weighs in at a bit over 40 pounds.
It is being sold with a pole, a paddle, a portage yolk, an instructional DVD about poling and a CG orange PFD if you want it. Poling is particularly useful for going upstream. If you pick up the skill you can ditch the shuttle. Just launch, pole upstream as far As you want and then paddle back.
