Description
This kayak was purchased as a kit from Chesapeake Light Craft, and assembled in a one-week class at the Wooden Boat School in Brooklin, Maine, taught by the boat's designer, Eric Shade. The boat is five years old and has only been used two or three times each year since.
The boat is made of sapele marine plywood, fiberglassed and epoxied, and varnished with multiple coats of Interlux Schooner marine varnish for UV protection.
