Beaver Canoe from Lowe Industries
This is the 17 Little Bro model of these classic racing canoes. Adjustable front seat is fiberglass, rear is plastic.
As you can see in the pictures, it needs some repair. I have removed the flotation foam from both ends which was breaking down and would stay wet. This promoted corrosion and created several 1-3mm holes in the sidewalls. I’ve researched repair techniques and have found two solutions: brazing with aluminum alloy rods or JB Weld patches from the inside.
I’ve got too many projects, it’s time to let someone else get this beauty back in the water.
