FOR SALE: Angus Rowcruiser – Asking $4950, Negotiable/OBO - Layton, UT, 84041

Fresh build, never used. Relocating and sadly cannot bring the boat.

A few reinforcements added above-and-beyond the plans, such as reinforced bulkhead joints, fully epoxy sealed wood, additional fiberglass below waterline, final glass layer resin-filled (decks and hull).

Included: (if buyer wants it) are Renogy Solar Charge Controller with battery and controller cables, bulkhead cable fittings (water tight), topside solar panel cable entry gland.

Colin Angus designed the boat for the R2AK (Race to Alaska, from Port Townsend, WA to Ketchikan, AK).

Features a single sleeping compartment around 6’2”.

Can be endlessly customized with anchor (not included), solar panels, lighting… pretty much anything you want to do.

Angus Rowcruiser built from kit supplied by Duckworks Boat Builders Supply in Port Townsend, WA.

The kit components feature CNC router-cut Okoume marine plywood, epoxy resin and 6oz fiberglass cloth.

The sliding seat assembly was purchased directly from Angus Rowboats and features a carbon fiber seat, adjustable aluminum rails, Concept 2 foot stretcher, Concept 2 Oarlocks, and stainless hardware.

NOT INCLUDED (never purchased, as I have never used the boat):

· Trailer

· 9 foot sculling oars

Construction:

· Assembled using “Stitch-and-Glue” method per the build plans.

· ALL wood components were pre-sealed with epoxy on both surfaces and end grain.

· All 3 bulkheads epoxy filleted in place and tabbed with 3” fiberglass tape for maximum strength.

· Hull panels epoxy filleted the entire length.

· Installed removable daggerboard using plans from sailing conversion plans to provide improved stability/tracking in heavy conditions. Half the length of the sailboat daggerboard. Fiberglassed.

· Rigger arm made of Douglas Fir, extra 6oz fiberglass wrap at lap joint.

o Inner cylindrical walls of drilled holes in rigger arm epoxy sealed.

· 2 additional layers of 6oz cloth added below waterline.

· Shear clamps epoxy filleted entire length and epoxy sealed.

· Battery shelf added to front storage compartment for solar applications.

· Forward bulkhead pre-drilled for battery cable glands (included).

· Additional piece of plywood bonded to upper portion of transom for greater boning surface area common to aft deck panel.

· Four 6” Deck hatches for storage. Black. Sealed with Life Caulk. Secured with bolts, NOT screws.

· Two 5” Inspection Ports. White. Sealed with Life Caulk. Secured with bolts, NOT screws.

· COATINGS:

o 3 coats Interlux Epoxy Primekote

o Hull topcoat: Interlux Toplac Plus, Snow White. 3 Coats

o Sleeping compartment topcoat: Interlux Toplac Plus, Snow White. 1 Coat

o Topside Paint:

§ Cockpit: Interlux Toplac Plus, Snow White. 2 Coats

§ Decks: Interlux Toplac Plus, Orange – 4.5:1 (Yellow/YLK101: Rochelle Red/YLK299). 3 Coats
